Riding the waves – 100 years of service, courage and advancement

Throughout its 100-year history BP has always believed in the value of using different channels to share its messages. Steed Design was commissioned to design and produce the company’s flagship external magazine, aimed at a sophisticated audience of shareholders, government and academic partners, analysts and NGOs. The content needed to reflect the diversity of BP’s work – everything from major oil and gas projects, to low carbon activities, to its extensive arts and culture programme. Working with the company’s in-house editor we developed a beautiful quarterly publication that blended clean, stylish design with outstanding photography and commercial magazinestandard editorial. The result was a high impact, credible publication that was describe by a former Director–General of the Confederation of British Industry as ‘the whole product says quality’.
